Elora Label Company

This spring, Nancy asked me if I would be able to take headshots of her to help with the launch of her business. We lucked out, and had a gorgeous day for shooting downtown Elora. 
Elora Labels are Personalized "Sticky" labels for children and adult's clothing and personal items. Nancy Ariss, the founder of Elora Label Company began the business at her kitchen table in Elora where she lives with her family.  When her daughter began Kindergarten she purchased her first set of labels.  Her daughter got off the bus, and Garry her Bus Driver gave her the sweater we had thought was lost - The Label's worked!  Working with a Professional Graphic Artist they collaborated and came up with some unique designs, trendy colours and playful icons.

This spring, we welcomed baby Keira into the world. Little pink bows are beginning to take the place of little toy trains in this family. Tiny and precious, she is quickly becoming their little princess.

Jeremy & Jessica | Engaged | Elora Wedding Photographer

Sometimes you meet a couple and you just know that they were meant for each other. Jessica asked me to shoot her and Jeremy's engagement photos this past fall. She wanted to have the photos taken around gorgeous downtown Elora. Jeremy had his proposal all planned out. He would have Jess's friend Andrea take her out for a walk, like they so often did, but this time there would be a slight detour. Jeremy was waiting for her at Lover's Leap. For those who don't know, it is called Lover's Leap to honor a legendary Indian princess, who is said to have leapt to her death after her beloved had been killed in battle. Jeremy proposed, and Jessica said yes!

Their wedding will be taking place this Easter weekend with the ceremony in Elora and the reception in Alma. I am very much looking forward to the formal portraits happening downtown Elora and at Jeremy's parents farm. I have my fingers crossed that one of the bridesmaids Mary, will get her little lamb!

Katie & Collin | Married | Windermere on the Mount Wedding

Collin and Katie had a wedding that was straight out of a dream. From all of the little details, the venue and the amazing wedding party, they were surrounded by so much love. Both Katie and Collin were so calm the whole day. They saw their wedding as a day to celebrate their love with all of their closest friends and family. 

The day ended with some gorgeous light. It was definitely the perfect end to a perfect wedding.

I honestly cannot stop looking at this ring, I LOVE it!!

Katie wore her Grandmother's gorgeous earrings. She gave all of her girls a little something sweet in a perfect turquoise box. 

Katie was smart and had two pairs of shoes. Sparkly flats for the ceremony and for doing photos in, and fun polka dot heels for the reception. 

These next two feel so peaceful. 

The church was gorgeous!

The bridesmaids were so much fun!

These two know how to work it for the camera, so fierce! 

You can't find light that is prettier than this, it was divine.
